Tekutaro has set the challenge; to compete in the Grand Prix 250cc club class using a highly modifed production 250cc road bike. The challenge of competing against purposely built race bikes is massive, but so is our effort to succeed.

Tekutaro has choosen the Suzuki RGV250 VJ23 as its base for the battle against Honda RS250's and TZ250's. The last model of Suzuki RGV range, it has the most advanced features which is similar to Grand Prix spec machines. Tekutaro RGV250 currently runs these specifications:

Spare Wheels have finally arrived, they the forged magnesium Dymag wheels designed to fit the RGV250SP. The GSXR1000 marchesini are alot heavier than the Dymag.

After many months of building the race bike is complete, the final touches were a freshly developed set of carbon fibre reeds for the VJ23 from www.rgvspares.com . They are a 0.4mm carbon reed developed for mid - high rpm use.

Team tekutaro, has built a collection of various carburetors for the VJ23 race bike, the big bored modified carburetors run on a RAM air race kit air box.
Using carefully selected close ratios, the gearbox is built using special coatings and treatments to reduce friction and increase strength. Aluminum and titanium bolts are used throughout the whole race bike to reduce weight where ever possible.

Mesurements and flow were considered before modifing the standard Suzuki Mikuki 32 Carburetors. Changes to the bore and modifed slide were decided on.
Rear suspension was completly rebuilt with premium components from KTech and Ohlins, as suspension is a critical component in all race bikes.
Gearbox output shaft and modifed gears using different advanced surface treatments .
